The 954-panel solar array at Palmer College of Chiropractic, one of the largest Chiropractic Colleges on the West Coast, is expected to provide an output of 450,000 kWh per year and lead to substantial electricity cost savings. The installation is expected to save the school $2.3 million over the project’s lifetime. The money saved by going solar will be instead reinvested in the school and the students. It will help further Palmer College’s mission to promote learning, deliver health care, and advance knowledge through research. This is a great kick-start for their environmental stewardship initiative!
